Acceptance

Acceptance:
Hi, umm, I'm Belphona. I sort of new at this journaling thing, so please forgive me if I make mistakes. I've written letters before though.

Well today I found out that I made it into Cohort Alpha. Yay! I'm the baby of the group though and I'm a little afraid that they will all look down on me for it. Some of them are close to my age (but even the teenagers feel really old to me.) Manthar's so old he could be my uncle and some of the others are older than the world it seems.

They announced our partners too. I'm partnered with Kyunya, which is great 'cause she's really friendly. She's a little weird though, but I think we'll be fine together. All of the other groupings are boy-girl. I don't get why everyone is fussing about it so much though.

Desiris and Hex have the room across from me and Kyunya. She was complaining the size of the room and stuff. I don't see a problem with it. My bedroom is bigger than our barn back home and the decorations in here are better that what the locale lord has. We even have our own indoor bathroom just for the two of us! I think Desiris would laugh at me if I tell her this. The dorm even has its own kitchen and library that we can use. This is going to be so much fun. I just hope Kyunya and I can stay here for a while!

Well, I'm off to bed now. I'm really sleepy.
